Old Quay- Four berthing which principally accommodate fishing vessels and lifeboats. The main Berth (70m long,4.5 below C.D) is also capable of escorting general cargo ships.
A new 54 berth pontoon was completed in 2015.

Empty container handling up to four times faster with BLOK
BLOK container products deliver a complete solution for all aspects of empty container handling and potential solutions to make future laden handling much more efficient.
BLOK makes the process faster, safer and greener while enabling terminals to make more money with less work and delivers faster turn-around for shipping lines, which can be deployed for 'slow sailing' saving fuel and emissions.
BLOK Spreaders are electric spreader adaptors stationed at the port which convert any spreader into a tandem lift spreader able to lift blocks of 2 columns of empty VTLs in one lift.
BLOK Trailers guide, transport and then feed twistlocks into the corner castings. Automatic jigging speeds up spreader operations.
The BLOK Rig automatically strips and feeds SATs into the corner castings and will remove and fit the twistlocks from containers in single, tandem and VTL. The basic manual BLOK Rig can fit four twistlocks semi-automatically under a container, and remove four twistlocks semi-automatically from a container.
The BLOK Cert also makes use of the BLOK Rig and offers a proof test load and certification.

Port Clarence Logistics offer services to the maritime and offshore industry. Based on the North Bank of the river Tees, upstream and adjacent to the Transporter Bridge, at Middlesbrough. Cargo HandlingEquipment

Cranes
We have three x 360-degree hydraulic material handler cranes capable of handling bulk and unitised cargoes. In 2013 we took delivery of a new Sennebogen 835 E crane to support our Samsung SE450 and Atlas 1801i cranes. Each crane can comfortably discharge 200 tonnes of bulk cargo per hour. Unitised cargo is discharged at a rate of 150-200 tonnes per hour per crane.
Elevators
Three electric elevators are used to load bulk cargoes. The elevators are serviced directly from road transport and we can operate all three elevators at any one time. We can load bulk cargo at a rate of 225 tonnes per hour.
Fork Trucks
Shoreside and warehouse cargo handling is undertaken by our two Manitou telehandler fork trucks. All machines were acquired new in 2020 and afford us increased efficiency and versatility.
Warehousing

We have three warehouses/transit sheds sited on the Tweed Dock. 3100 square metres of warehouse space is available with 1000 square metres suitable for bulk cargo storage. We can store up to 7,500 tonnes of cargo in the warehouses and all our warehouses are FIAS approved.

Weighbridge
A fully calibrated weighbridge facility is located on the Tweed Dock within 100 metres of all 3 working berths.
Cargo sampling
A fully equipped and recently installed cargo sampling shed, and sampling gantry is sited adjacent to the weighbridge. The Port is fully compliant with cargo sampling requirements.
Services
Pilotage
Two qualified Pilots are stationed at the Port, Harbour Master Scott Ferguson & Capt. Martin Willis. They are supported by our Boatmen and operate our own Pilot Cutter St Boisil.

Waste Disposal
The Port provides facilities for the disposal of vessel generated waste in accordance with the Port Waste Reception Facilities Regulations 2003, Arrangements can be made for the disposal of non-EU generated food waste and for disposal of waste oil. The Port Waste Management Plan was revalidated in 2021 by the Maritime Coastguard Agency.

Port of Workington

The Port of Workington is wholly owned and operated by Cumbria County Council, which is the Statutory Harbour Authority, and is an independent Municipal Port established in 1975.Located on the west coast of the UK, the Port is a strategic InterModel hubserving Northern England & Scotland.
The Port's principal cargo handling facilities are centred on the Prince of Wales Dock. This modern enclosed dock has a total water area of 2.6 hectares and a quay frontage of 773m providing 7 berths plus a ro-ro facility.
The Port also offers rail freight services via its main line connection. All berths are rail-connected, and the Port Authority operates its own locomotives on the site's extensive internal rail system.

Redcar Bulk Terminal Limited is situated on the South Bank of the River Tees on the North East coast of the United Kingdom.
The terminal operates a 320 metre long quay which can accommodate vessels up to 17 metres draft. Craneage that can operate both grab or hook for bulk or conventional cargoes respectively.
The Terminal is Teesside Freeport and HMRC approved for the storage of un-cleared goods. We enjoy direct rail access to the National Rail Network along with excellent road links to both the A19 and A1(M).

Major new dredging work has increased Approach Channel Depths depts to 8.5 metres to accommodate larger vessels.
