Dawson Construction Plant Ltd

The Catcher Field comprises three
discoveries all located in Block 2819 of the
UK Continental shelf, namely Catcher,
Varadero and Burgman in a water depth of
approximately 90m which is characterised
as being an oil field with relatively low Gas
Oil Ratio(GOR). Each Field is to be located
as a subsea tie back to a new Floating,
Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO)
vessel, exporting oil by shutter tanker and
gas by new 10" pipeline connected to the
existing fulmar gas line as is illustrated in the
figure.
There are three potential drill sites, the
Catcher drill centre shall be located
approximately 3.6km east, the Burgman drill
Premier Oil UK Limited awarded Subsea 7 for
completion of major piling operations for these
drilling templates through 2 phases:
Phase1 (2015) :
To install 3 drilling templates- Catcher 1,
Burgman 1 and the PLEM
Phase 2 (2016):
To Install 4 drilling templates- Catcher 2,
Burgman 2, Varadero 1, Varadero 2 and also
install 3 Gravity Based Structures(GBS)-
Catcher GBS, Burgman GBS and Varadero
GBS.
